General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China held a meeting on kids and babies’ apparel inspection analysis recently. The secretary general of Technical Committee on Garment of Standardization Administration of China said standard is the best teacher ever. If an enterprise refers to a wrong standard, it would lead it to a failure. He also recommended that all kid apparel manufacturers should read and fully understand the standard. It is a key for them to prevent from unexpected risk.

In these recent years, kid apparel is the fastest-growing industry. There was a brand has reach sales amount as 1 billion. It is a miracle in this field.

After years of growth, kid appeal industry has come into being a trend of cluster. And most of the manufacturers locate in the developed north-eastern littoral. The cluster is good for uniting the whole industry which would gather brand and increase the competitive. And finally make a great impact to the industry.

The cluster of kid apparel industry is of great potential and grows so quickly. Some experts forecasted that the command of kid apparel would be a steadily rising trend in the next ten years. By the year 2015, China kid apparel market scale would reach 140 billion.

That’s the reason why the SAQSIQ is so concerned about the quality of children’s clothing. Referring to the words of the supervisor of the inspection department, there has been times of nationwide random inspection in this industry. And the product percent of pass keep on increasing which keep steadily in between 85% to 90% after 2008.

In the meanwhile, leisure clothing industry is being concerned about, too. It keeps updating the fashion information and catches up with the world. Besides, some coat manufacturers have made their name in the world market. So, it is important for kid apparels to build their brands in the world.
